Free clinic’s Holiday Ball raises $231,000 to help people in need

Vancouver – The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington’s annual Holiday Ball raised more than $200,000 this year.

The $231,000 raised at the Dec. 2 event will be used to provide medicine, supplies and equipment for low-income, uninsured and underinsured people in the community.

About 230 people attended the event, which was hosted by the Friends of the Free Clinic at Heathman Lodge in Vancouver. Dawn Tolotti of Providence Health and Services and Mark Matthias of Beaches and WareHouse ’23 emceed the event.

The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington provides medical, dental, vision and specialty care to children and adults who are otherwise unable to obtain such care.
