A female was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries Friday after being struck in a crosswalk by a pickup at the intersection of Northeast Highway 99 and Northeast 72nd Street, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash was reported shortly before 4:15 p.m.
Neither the woman nor the driver of the Ford pickup were identified.
The driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators, sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Luque said.
No citations were immediately issued, Luque said, but the investigation was ongoing.
