Vancouver – Legislators from Washington’s 49th Legislative District, which encompasses much of west Vancouver, will hold a town hall meeting from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan. 6, at the Columbia Room in the Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St.

Sen. Annette Cleveland and state Reps. Sharon Wylie and Monica Stonier (all Vancouver Democrats) will be present at the meeting to get input from constituents in anticipation of the 2018 legislative session, which begins Jan. 8.

According to a news release, the lawmakers encourage residents of the district to attend and share their thoughts on issues facing the state, including the public education system, access to quality health care and affordable housing, improving transportation, protecting the environment and boosting the economy.
