Boys basketball: Union 62, AC Davis 52

Tyler Combs scored 19 points and Alishawuan Taylor had a double-double as short-handed Union handed AC Davis just its second loss of the season.

Combs made five 3-pointers and had five assists. Ethan Smith added 15 points, including four 3-pointers. Taylor had 11 points and 11 rebounds.

“We played well, especially on the boards,” Union coach Blake Conley said. “We outrebounded them by 10, which was one of our goals,”

Union (7-2) was missing four players due to illness, including starting guard Zach Reznick.

Collin Kelley and Alexzander Delgado each had 18 points for visiting AC Davis. The Yakima school fell to 5-2.
