Girls basketball: Capital 61, Mountain View 47

Capital of Olympia used its inside game to score a non-league road win.

The Cougars made all 23 of their field goals from 2-point range, while Mountain View hit nine 3-pointers.

However, Capital attempted 26 free throws to Mountain View’s two. The 15-point differential in free throws made proved to be the difference.

Dejah Wilson paced Mountain View with 12 points, all on 3-pointers. Olivia Hood added 11 points for the Thunder (1-7).
