Boys basketball: Washougal 80, R.A. Long 53

Jakob Davis led four Panthers in double figures as Washougal took control with 23-6 second quarter to win its 2A Greater St. Helens League opener.

The Panthers (4-4, 1-0 2A GSHL) built a 36-18 lead at halftime and pushed the advantage to 59-32 after three quarter.

Troy Prince-Butterfield added 12 points and Moses McEwen and Carson Adams added 10 each.
