Micah Paulsen stepped up with 22 points to lead Hockinson past Woodland 62-55 in a 2A Greater St. Helen’s League matchup on Tuesday.

Woodland pulled within three points when Tyler Flanagan hit three free throws with 29 seconds to play, but Hockinson closed out by going 6-for-6 at the line.

Peyton Brammer, who was guarded by Woodland’s Wyatt Harsh, added 15 points for the Hawks.

But Paulsen carried the load.

“Micah had a good night, I’ll give him credit for that,” Woodland coach Andrew Johnson said.

Palmer Dinehart had 20 points and 10 boards to lead the Beavers.
