Alex Bailey scored 17 points to lead five players in double figures as the Thunder won on the road.
Mountain View led 24-14 after one quarter, then pulled away by outscoring Stevenson 26-16 in the third quarter.
Michael Bolds added 14 points, Philip Earnhardt had 13, Kaden Horn had 11 and Will Prescott added 10 for Mountain View (3-4).
Coach JC Alexander pointed to the fast start and balanced scoring as keys to the win.
“Those were two things we’ve been lacking this year,” he said. “To put those together was really important. We’re heading into a tough three-game stretch, so it’s nice to get some momentum heading into that.”
Isaac Hoidal scored 20 points and Lincoln Krog added 15 for Stevenson (2-4).
