Two area nonprofits will host a dinner and auction to raise funds for hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico.
Youth 4 Vets and the Southwest Washington League of United Latin American Citizens will adopt the city of Corozal on the island. The organizations at 5 p.m. Friday will host a dinner and auction at the 40 Et 8 Chateau at 7607 N.E. 26th Ave., Vancouver.
Tickets are $40 and can be purchased by searching for “Boots on the ground for Puerto Rico” on Facebook or at eventbrite.com.
