Here are the nominees for The Columbian winter sports prep athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Dec. 9.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address, one vote per IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

MADI BASH, PRAIRIE BOWLING: Bash averaged 200.5 over six games in the three matches for the Falcons.

ASHLYN DAUGHERTY, WOODLAND GIRLS WRESTLING: Daugherty won her second consecutive tournament title, winning the 105-pound division at the Centralia Tiger Classic.

SHAE MCGEE, CAMAS GYMNASTICS: The freshman posted an all-around score of 36.7 and won the floor exercise in the four-team meet at Naydenov.

TAYLOR STEPHENS, LA CENTER GIRLS BASKETBALL: Stephens averaged 23 points, seven assists and 5.5 steals in two wins for the Wildcats.

ILIA ZABLOTOVISKII, EVERGREEN SWIMMING: Zablotoviskii swam state-qualifying times in the 200 freestyle (1:50.44) and 100 backstroke (55.34).
