Eli Hoover had 14 points and nine boards to help Hudson’s Bay past Hockinson 59-48 in a nonleague game on Monday night.
The Eagles led by seven at half and hit key free throws down the stretch to seal the game.
“We did a good job of handling pressure tonight,” Bay coach Theo Mikaele said.
Bay withstood 27 points from Hockinson’s Peyton Brammer, who was playing his first game of the season.
“Brammer stood out tonight,” Mikaele said. “He was a huge plus for them.”
Marcus Cadiz had seven assists and five steals and Eric Ryapolov scored 11 for the Eagles.
