Girls basketball: Prairie 77, Battle Ground 44

Brooke Walling scored 22 points and Prairie coasted past Battle Ground 77-44 on Friday night.

Sydney Weber came off the bench and hit two 3s to help Prairie get over a slow start.

The Falcons outscored Battle Ground by 14 in the second half.

“We got a couple easy buckets and it kind of got it going,” Prairie head coach Hala Corral said.

Junior Mallory Williams had eight-rebound for Prairie. Allison Corral had eight assists.

Battle Ground’s Morgan Stradley led all scorers with 23.
