Boys basketball: Washougal 67, Hudson’s Bay 64

Carter Murray scored 14 points, plus the go-ahead free throw, and Moses McEwen had 16 points to help the Panthers hand Bay its first loss of the season.

In the fourth quarter, Washougal’s Alex Orr hit a 3-pointer to cut Bay’s lead to 64-63. Murray hit two free throws to put the Panthers up 65-64. McEwen hit two more free throws to seal the win.

Carson Adams led Washougal (2-2) with 17 points. Quadrese Teague paced the Eagles (3-1) with 15 points.
