Mill Creek Pub empties wishing well for charity

Battle Ground — Mill Creek Pub celebrated its sixth anniversary with a free meal for veterans and its annual fundraiser for a local charity. Each year, patrons can guess how much change is in the restaurant’s wishing well before it’s emptied out. The money is donated to charity. This year, the $734.07 pulled out of the well will go to the Battle Ground Education Foundation. Waste Connections, Tradesmen Electric and Tapani Underground donated money to increase the amount going to the foundation.
