Beyonce Bea had 17 points and 13 boards, but it wasn’t enough on Monday night as Black Hills beat the Panthers 45-37.
Washougal nursed a seven-point lead going into the fourth quarter, when Black Hills erupted for a 20-point period to pull away.
“The ball just wasn’t really falling for us,” Washougal coach Britt ….. “We did a lot of things right. … we got good shots, they just weren’t falling.”
McKinley Stotts finished with nine points and 11 boards. Freshman Skylar Bea added eight boards. Washougal held the rebounding advantage, but it didn’t prove enough around the stretch.
