Boys basketball: Columbia River 73, Mountain View 41

Nasseen Gutierrez had a game-high 23 points off the bench and Jacob Hjort added 15 points to give the Chieftains the nonleague victory at home.

Gutierrez had 20 of his 23 points in the second and third quarters. Hjort had what coach David Long called a “solid game”, dishing out six assists in addition to his 15 points over three quarters.

Philip Earnhardt led the Thunder with nine points.
