Neither driver was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash on state Highway 14 near Camas Thursday afternoon.

According to the Washington State Patrol, Mikel D. Cribbs, 36, of Hermiston, Ore., was heading east in a box truck around 2:40 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve near the Camas city limits.

His truck left the roadway and hit the median barrier. It spun around and rolled onto its side, then came to a stop in the westbound lane.

Washougal’s Sarah M. Collins, 38, was heading west when she saw the truck coming into her lane. She swerved to avoid it, sending her minivan off the right side of the road and into some blackberry bushes.

No one was hurt, according to the state patrol, and both drivers wore their seat belts.

Troopers cited Cribbs for driving too fast.
