Clark County – Leadership Clark County is seeking nominations for its 2017 Clark County Leadership Awards recognizing local leaders. The nonprofit, nonpartisan civic leadership development program offers awards in three categories:

  • The Leadership Clark County Outstanding Alumnus Award, which goes to someone who’s graduated from the Leadership Clark County program.
  • The Community Leader Award that honors someone who has not graduated from the program.
  • The Business Leadership Award recognizing a business that promotes community involvement and leadership.

Nominations must be emailed by Sept. 20 to Jerry Todd at jerry@learningavenues.com and Christine Humphrey at christine@swwpic.org. Besides contact info for both nominator and nominee, nominations should include “a brief description of how the nominee demonstrates exemplary community leadership by modeling the way, inspiring a shared vision, challenging the process, enabling others to act and/or by encouraging the heart,” Leadership Clark County said in a news release.

An alumni selection committee will chose the winners, who will be honored during a celebration Oct. 25 at Camas Meadows Golf Club. For more information, visit leadershipclarkcounty.com.
