Clark County – The Humane Society for Southwest Washington is preparing for its annual dinner and auction, which will raise money for the local animal-welfare nonprofit.
The Humane Society’s Mad Hatter’s Party Dinner-Auction will be held on Oct. 7 at the Red Lion Hotel on the River — Jantzen Beach. The event begins at 5 p.m. with a silent auction. At 6:30 p.m., there will be a seated dinner with wines, raffle drawings and a live auction for prizes that will include trips, wine and other items.
The proceeds from the event will help the Humane Society fund adoption services, reunite lost pets with their owners and care for animals.
