Vancouver — The eastbound lanes of Padden Parkway between Northeast 117th Avenue and Northeast 162nd Avenue opened at 5 p.m. Sunday, about 12 hours earlier than scheduled.
The work is part of the county’s asphalt overlay program, totaling 26 lane miles. Granite Construction Co. was awarded the $5.13 million contract for this year’s asphalt overlay program.
That section of Padden Parkway was last paved when the highway was constructed in 2000.
