Vancouver – The Giving Circle is seeking applicants for its upcoming grant cycle that address the needs of people with disabilities in Clark County. The Giving Circle focuses on a different issue each year; this year’s focus is on disabilities.
Local nonprofits that apply for funding should serve people who have physical, developmental, mental health concerns or some other disability. “Proposals may be written for programs or projects providing support for health, housing, education, or other issues,” the Giving Circle said in a news release.
Grant proposals are due by Sept. 30.
Applications and more info is online at givingcircleclarkcounty.org/apply-for-a-grant. There will also be an informational meeting 3 to 4 p.m. Sept. 11 at Innovative Services NW, 9414 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd. People can RSVP for that by emailing givingcircleclarkcounty@gmail.com.
The Giving Circle has awarded more than $108,000 in grants over the last decade, including more than $17,000 in the spring that went toward four organizations serving people who are homeless.
