Woodland – Delays are expected on southbound Interstate 5 near Woodland due to resurfacing work, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

Beginning Sunday, crews will install a waterproof layer on the North Fork Lewis River Bridge, then a new layer of asphalt on the deck.

During construction, daytime traffic will reduce to two lanes and nighttime traffic to a single lane.

The $2.3 million project is slated for fall completion, depending on the weather.
