Letter: Heed words of Gandhi

I am glad to read Lynn Brown’s letter to the editor regarding Rep. Liz Pike, R-Camas: “Pike had her chance and failed” (Aug. 10). I could not agree more.

I also agree with Ellen Putman’s comments on abortion (“Abortion issue drives the electorate,” Aug. 10, Our Readers’ Views). I think we are all on the same train.

In the words of Mahatma Gandhi: “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.”
