Do you work for a local organization or government entity that could benefit from a federal grant? Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, and her office will be hosting a seminar on Wednesday at Washington State University Vancouver on the best practices and strategies to produce better proposals for federal grant applications.

According to a news release, the event will include representatives from federal agencies and foundations, as well as individuals from organizations that have successfully applied for grants who will provide advice on how to produce better proposals and applications.

Organizations and government entities interested in sending someone to the event should RSVP by Monday at www.herrerabeutler.house.gov/forms/form/?ID=3255.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday at WSU Vancouver’s Dengerink Administration Building, 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave., Vancouver.

Those who attend are asked to park in the Blue lot, which costs $3.

Questions can be directed to Jordan Meade, who can be reached at Jordan.Meade@mail.house.gov or 360-695-6292.
