Meadow Homes — CDM Caregiving Services broke ground on its new home July 28, an event seven years in the making, according to Executive Director Eric Erickson. “Today is the day that we transfer hope into reality,” he told a group of about 90 people at the ceremony, according to a release from the nonprofit. The new building will be named the McKibbin Center for CDM Aging with Dignity Capital Campaign member John McKibbin, a community leader who died in a plane crash in March 2016. The new center will allow CDM to serve nearly double the amount of clients in their Adult Day Center, as well as provide offices for other programs at the nonprofit, such as the area’s largest in-home care agency. CDM hopes to move into the new facility in February.
