Library foundation sells used fiction hardcovers

VANCOUVER – Overstocked with hardbound novels, the Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation will hold a “flash fiction” sale on Aug. 24.

Thousands of used hardbound works of fiction will be sold for $1 each in Library Hall, downstairs at the district headquarters (the former Vancouver Community Library building), 1007 E. Mill Plain Blvd.

The sale will run from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.

The books will be for adults, with categories including mystery and suspense, horror, science fiction, Westerns, historical fiction, political thrillers, romance, large print, fantasy, adventure, crime and humor.

Proceeds will support Fort Vancouver Regional Library District programs and services.
