Two locations in Vancouver were searched by police from two states Tuesday and yielded almost $10,000 in cash and evidence of methamphetamine and heroin processing.

The searches were part of an investigation that led to the arrest of Jose Luise Poitras, 22, in the parking lot of a Home Depot store at Mall 205 in east Portland, according to a news release from the Clackamas County, Ore., sheriff’s office.

Poitras was allegedly in possession of 20 kilograms of methamphetamines and four kilograms of heroin when he was arrested Tuesday.

The Vancouver locations were searched the same day Poitras was arrested, according to deputies. The Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force assisted the Clackamas County Interagency Task Force in the search and investigation.

Poitras was booked into the Clackamas County Jail on suspicion of unlawful distribution of methamphetamine and heroin. Bail was set at $500,000.
