In the darkest of times the old saying, “There is light at the end of the tunnel,” may surface. I elect to use that phrase to start things off today. Yes, we have had one of our wettest water years so far, more clouds than sun and other crazy bouts of whatever nature can throw at us.
We strive to get through with still a few showers about today before high pressure and drier weather moves inland. Friday should be dry with clouds slowly clearing during the day. Saturday will be a fair day but maybe not quite as nice as thought earlier. A weak weather system slides by to our north late Saturday and Sunday, bringing increasing high clouds and perhaps a few light showers overnight.
The light we see through the dark tunnel will be the first two weeks of May. An extended period of basically warm and dry weather should begin next week. Although we may encounter some rain it would be light and more dry days than wet days. Bright enough for you?
My confidence is increasing that we may see a pattern change. About time, I say! We will keep a good weather eye for you and update you Sunday just how bright the light at end of the tunnel will be. Fingers crossed.
