Vancouver – The Firstenburg Foundation has awarded the Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools $50,000 in grants since December.
Firstenburg awarded the schools foundation a $25,000 grant in its latest cycle, as well as a $25,000 grant in December.
The grants will be used to support the community schools model, which allows the school to support students and families in poverty, according to a news release.
