The driver in a May 2016 drunken crash that sent four people to the hospital, two with serious injuries, was sentenced Wednesday to nearly 1 1/2 years in prison, court records show.
Andrey Altman, 24, of Washougal pleaded guilty last month to two counts of vehicular assault, both while driving under the influence, and one count of first-degree driving with a suspended license.
On May 10, Altman was driving a silver Infiniti west on Southeast Columbia Way in Vancouver when he passed a vehicle at high speed, according to a probable cause affidavit. A police patrol car attempted to stop Altman, but he fled, reaching 77 mph in a 25 mph zone, the affidavit states.
Altman lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree. The impact ejected one of his passengers.
