Community center to host ‘Teen Takeover’ April 28

Brush Prairie – The Rocksolid Community Teen Center will host a “Teen Takeover” event from 7 to 10 p.m. April 28 at the center, 12919 N.E. 159th St., Brush Prairie. The event is open to teens in grades 5-12.

Wanz, who is featured on “Thrift Shop” by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, will be the emcee for the evening and sing a few songs, and the NW Rock Academy band will perform. There will also be food and drinks, door prizes and a photo booth.

Prevent Together will have a booth set up with prevention information and impaired goggles for teens to learn about the dangers of being impaired. Guests are asked to bring school identification to check for age verification.
