SKAMANIA — The Skamania School District board has narrowed its search for a new superintendent/principal to two finalists: Ralph Pruitt of Camas and Randy Bryant of Oregon City, Ore. The selected candidate will succeed Sally Godwin, who is retiring at the end of August.
Pruitt is currently the assistant superintendent for the International Schools Group in Saudi Arabia. He also spent 17 years as a principal in Camas and South Lane School District in Cottage Grove, Ore. Bryant is currently the executive director for human resources in the Gresham Barlow School District in Gresham, Ore. He has 11 years of principal experience in the Gresham Barlow School District and five years of assistant principal experience in the Gladstone School District in Gladstone, Ore.
Community members are invited to an open house breakfast to meet the candidates from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the district office, 122 Butler Loop Road, Skamania.
