• Clark County Veterans Assistance Center needs volunteers to assist veterans, direct them to needed resources, and assist with record-keeping during weekday shifts.

• Evergreen Habitat for Humanity is looking for a family services intern to create spreadsheets, make phone calls and complete reports for the home ownership program.

• North County Community Food Bank seeks help with stocking pantry shelves, unloading deliveries, taking donations, vacuuming and cleaning. Volunteer drivers are also needed to pick up food donations from Battle Ground-area businesses.

• Clark County Public Utilities’ StreamTeam is looking for volunteers to help bring salmon back to the Salmon Creek watershed. Help with pruning, planting, monitoring and other maintenance events throughout the year. Families are welcome. Events are usually Saturday mornings.

• Free Clinic of Southwest Washington is looking for Spanish-speaking volunteers to help translate during urgent care, vision and immunization clinic hours; morning and evening shifts are available.

NatureScaping of Southwest Washington seeks gardening volunteers at work parties, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays at the Wildlife Botanical Gardens in Brush Prairie. Other workdays may be arranged.
