Law enforcement officers responded in force Tuesday night following a reported disturbance and assault in east Vancouver.
Police and medical personnel were called to a house in the 13500 block of Northeast 44th Street, in the Image neighborhood, around 9:40 p.m.
More information was unavailable, but emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian indicated multiple officers responded, and there were concerns the suspect may have had a firearm.
