Police have arrested a suspect who allegedly pointed a gun at victims in two different parking lots Tuesday.

Vancouver police officers identified Jonathan Blake Fulmer, 24, of Washougal as the suspect in the case; he was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of robbery and assault, police said.

Officers responded to a call of a man in a dark-colored vehicle who pointed a gun at a person walking through a convenience store parking lot in the 5600 block of Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard at about 4:43 a.m. Tuesday, according to police.

The victim ran away and the suspect chased the victim with his car until the victim ran back into the convenience store, police said.

The man left the area, but a short time later the same suspect approached another person in a parking lot of a nearby grocery store, pointed a gun at them and demanded property, police said.

That victim was able to get away and the suspect again left the area, police said.

Police circulated a surveillance photo of the suspect Wednesday and made an arrest the same day, police said.
