Crime Stoppers of Oregon is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in a Vancouver assault case.

Josh Cooper, 20, was walking to the bus stop in the 2500 block of Northeast 110th Avenue at about 8:30 p.m. on March 26 when he was assaulted by a group of males.

Cooper told officers that he was hit in the head and body by what felt like several people and knocked to the ground. He lost consciousness but woke up and encountered a passerby, who encouraged him to use their cellphone to call 911. He suffered a concussion and required hospitalization.

The suspects are described as white males in their 20s and are associated with a dark colored vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to send the tip to Crime Stoppers of Oregon. Tips can be made by calling 503-823-4357; by sending a text message to 274637, beginning the message with 823HELP, followed by the tip; by going online to crimestoppersoforegon.com; or through the TipSubmit app, www.tipsoft.com.
