Fire damaged a house Friday evening in the 900 block of Northeast 117th Avenue in the Greater Brush Prairie neighborhood north of Vancouver, according to emergency radio traffic and the American Red Cross.
The fire was reported about 8:35 p.m., with callers reporting hearing explosions and seeing flames coming from windows and the eaves. Crews arriving on scene found heavy flame in one corner of the structure.
All occupants were been evacuated from the residence, according to radio traffic, and the fire was declared under control at about 8:50 p.m.
The fire displaced three adults and one pet, according to a statement from the American Red Cross Cascades Region. They were provided with provided with assistance for basic needs.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
