VANCOUVER – Drivers who use southbound Interstate 5 in Vancouver should be prepared for nighttime ramp closures near the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds this week.
The closures, which started Wednesday night, will continue until the Saturday morning. A contractor working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close the southbound Interstate 5 off- and on-ramps at Northeast 179th Street nightly for pavement repairs.
The remaining closures are planned as follows:
• 9 p.m. today to 5 a.m. Friday.
• 10 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday.
The work is weather-dependent and could be rescheduled.
