Week 4 prep football player of the week nominees

Vote, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through Tuesday night

Here are the nominees for The Columbian prep football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Sept. 23.

Athletes cannot be nominated in consecutive weeks.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Tuesday, with results announced in Wednesday’s edition of The Columbian.

HAYDEN FROEBER, SKYVIEW: Froeber rushed for 209 yards on 30 carries and three TDs in a win over Mountain View.

RILEY PHILLIPS, BATTLE GROUND: Phillips caught 6 passes for 99 yards and 1 TD, went 6 for 6 on PAT kicks and played stellar defense at safety vs. Prairie.

CANON RACANELLI, HOCKINSON: Racanelli passed for 394 yards and 4 TDs and had 4 PAT kicks in a win over Ridgefield.

ANDRE SCHEER, MOUNTAIN VIEW: Scheer rushed for 181 yards on 2 TDs and passed for 123 yards and a TD against Skyview.

JONATHAN STELL, KING’S WAY CHRISTIAN: Stell returned a fumble 39 yards for a TD, a punt 59 yards for a TD and had a TD run in a win over Elma.
