Furry Friends booth at fair raises $504

Furry Friends were out at the Peace and Justice Fair

Esther Short — Furry Friends had a booth at the Peace and Justice Fair in Esther Short Park on Sept. 10, and raised $504 at the event, which will go toward the Vancouver-based nonprofit’s renovation of a new shelter. At the event, Furry Friends showed off an array of cats and kittens up for adoption, and 18 dogs and cats received Avid FriendChip ID microchips, which help locate a lost animal.
