Nominees for high school football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Sept. 17. Voting will conclude at 8 p.m. Tuesday with results published in Wednesday’s Columbian.

JACK ARMSTRONG, COLUMBIA RIVER: Armstrong passed for 200 yards and two TDs in his first start in a win over Washougal.

MARCO CADIZ, HUDSON’S BAY: Cadiz rushed for 150 yards and two TDs and returned a kickoff 90 yards for another TD in win over Evergreen.

MICHAEL MATTHEWS, CAMAS: Matthews returned interceptions 10 and 40 yards for TDs and had two rushing TDs in a win over Davis of Yakima.

LEVI OREM, WOODLAND: Orem rushed for 205 yards on 29 yards and 5 TDs in win over Hockinson.

MAX RANDLE, BATTLE GROUND: Randle caught eight passes for 122 yards and 3 TDs in win over Mountain View.
