Non-league football: Mountain View 32, Ferris 13

Darien Chase was all over the Joe Albi Stadium field Saturday, scoring three touchdowns in helping visiting Mountain View to a 32-13 win over Ferris in Spokane.

Chase caught seven passes for 171 yards and two TDs, plus had two interceptions on defense, running one back 48 yards for a TD in the third quarter.

Junior Perry had the bulk of the Thunder’s 322 rushing yards with 148 on 11 carries and a touchdown.

Ferris took its only lead of the game by scoring the first TD of the second half. It was all Mountain View from there.

Andre Scheer was 12 of 19 for 203 passing yards with two TDs and he rushed for one as well.
