Who better to offer advice to women receiving breast cancer diagnoses than those who have already walked the path?

The Columbian is looking for breast cancer survivors to offer tips and advice to those who are receiving the diagnosis or undergoing treatment. These words of wisdom — whether essential items to bring to chemotherapy treatments, uplifting books to read or words of encouragement — will appear in The Columbian’s annual breast cancer section publishing Oct. 9.

Submissions of 250 words or less should be sent to reporter Marissa Harshman, marissa.harshman@columbian.com, by Sept. 9. Please include your name, city of residence and information about your own breast cancer diagnosis.
