Two Clark County men were arrested last week during an undercover sex trafficking sting.
Investigators in the Portland Police Bureau’s Sex Trafficking Unit posted online ads on known sex trafficking websites and made contact with six men who arranged payment for sexual acts, the agency reported.
The men who responded to the ad came to a Portland hotel, which assisted in the investigation, and were all arrested for suspicion of commercial sexual solicitation.
Timothy Lyle Ringering, 49, of Camas and Antonio Fernandez-Cruz, 22, of Vancouver were among those arrested.
Portland police advised anyone who suspects that someone is involved in trafficking or being exploited to contact authorities. They can call the Portland Police Bureau’s Sex Trafficking Unit at 503-255-0118, the Sexual Assault Resource Center hotline at 1-800-640-5311, or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.
