Students and teachers from more than 30 Clark County schools will attend the annual Green Schools Student Summit this week.
The four-hour event begins at 9 a.m. Thursday at Clark College’s Gaiser Hall at 1933 Fort Vancouver Way. Students will learn how to become environmental leaders through activities and breakout sessions.
The Green Schools Summit is a collaboration between Clark County Public Health and the Washington Green Schools, a nonprofit that promotes more sustainable school activities.
Clark County has 83 schools participating, more than any county in the state.
