The Washington State University Vancouver Spanish Club invites the community to a Dia de los Muertos — or Day of the Dead — celebration from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The event, in the Firstenburg Student Commons, is free and open to the public.
Dia de los Muertos is a Central and South American holiday honoring lost loved ones. Attendees are encouraged to bring a photo of a deceased loved one to be placed on an altar. The celebration will also include food, dancing, face-painting, hula-hoop contests, a photo booth and more.
