Voting, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through Tuesday

Nominees for high school football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Oct. 28. Voting will conclude at 8 p.m. Tuesday with results published in Wednesday’s Columbian.

BRODY BARNUM, SKYVIEW: Barnum completed 8 of 12 passes for 230 yards and 3 TDs in a win over Heritage.

MATT GARRISON, KING’S WAY CHRISTIAN: Garrison caught three passes for 53 yards, all three for TDs in a win over Benson.

JEFFREY MAYOLO, LA CENTER: Mayolo eclipsed 1,000 yards on the season by rushing for 181 yards and 2 TDs vs. Castle Rock.

JACK MERTENS, MOUNTAIN VIEW: Mertens led the Thunder rushing attack with 88 yards and three touchdowns vs. Evergreen.

GUNNER TALKINGTON, BATTLE GROUND: The senior capped his career by passing for 295 yards and 5 TDs in win over A.C. Davis.
