The final meet of the season is the NWAC Championships on Nov. 12 at Lynnwood.

WOMEN’S SOCCER — Clark finished the regular season with a 0-0 draw against Lane on Saturday and wrapped up the No. 1 seed from the NWAC South region for the postseason.

Sarah Kaufman, a Ridgefield grad, made three saves in goal for her seventh shutout of the season.

Clark (14-2-1 overall) won the South with an 11-0-1 record, and Lane finished second at 10-1-1.

The Penguins receive a first-round bye in the NWAC Championship and will face the winner of Green River vs. North Idaho at home in the quarterfinals on Nov. 5.

MEN’S SOCCER — The Penguins finished regular-season play with a 2-1 win at Lane on Saturday.

That result, combined with Portland’s 1-1 tie with Southwestern Oregon, gives the Penguins the South region’s No. 1 seed for the postseason and a first-round bye.

Clark (10-7-2, 10-4-1) finished the regular-season on a two-game win streak. The Penguins won at Southwestern Oregon 3-0 on Wednesday. Francisco Javier Cazares scored twice in that match.

Clark will open the playoffs at home on Nov. 5.
