Prairie dominated Fort Vancouver from the opening play.

Kevin Aguirre found a wide-open Isaiah Conley for a 42-yard touchdown on the first play of the game. From there, the Falcons continued to torch the Trapper defense.

Aguirre did not play in the final three quarters but still recorded three touchdowns, 123 yards passing, 61 rushing and completed eight of his nine attempts.

Nolan Mickenham, Nick Bobst and Josiah Nickel each had a touchdown reception, while Henry Le, Alec Gawley and Tyler Feeney each ran for one.

Following the Trappers’ lone score, Izaiah Ward returned the kickoff 78 yards for another Falcon touchdown.

Prairie’s offense scored on seven consecutive possessions, while the defense forced a fumble, an interception and allowed a mere 37 yards in the first half.

With the victory, Prairie has clinched a spot in the three-way tie for the final spot in the 3A Greater St. Helens League postseason along with Evergreen and Hudson’s Bay.
