Local swimmers medal at meet

Green Meadows — Cody Mowery was the fastest overall swimmer in each event he participated in at the Kids Club for Fun and Fitness Swim Meet on Oct. 14. About 35 kids participated in the meet at Kids Club Fun and Fitness, 13914 N.W. Third Court, Vancouver. Cody medaled along with fellow Club Green Meadows Swim Team members Jasmine Andrieu, Berkeley McLean and Noah Schmidt. The team, which is coached by Barbara Nordstrom and Patti Hunter, focuses on stroke improvement, endurance and competitive skills, and is made up of 10 swimmers ages 6-14.
